Vacuum Pouches
Vacuum pouches are usually bought in high volumes across many sizes. That makes them a strong starting point for a benchmark and for consolidating near-duplicate sizes.
Typical formats
- Standard vacuum pouches
- Embossed pouches for external (channel) vacuum sealers
- Cook-in and boil-in pouches
- Printed vacuum pouches
Typical structures
- PA/PE
- PA/EVOH/PE
- Mono-material barrier options
To assess your requirement we need
- 01Width × length (mm), stating the open end
- 02Thickness (µm) and structure
- 03Product, and whether it is cooked or frozen in the pouch
- 04Machine type (chamber or external)
- 05Quantity per size (pieces)
Don’t have all of this? Send what you have and we’ll ask for the rest.
Before we propose an alternative
What we check before proposing an alternative.
- 01Puncture resistance matters for bone-in and irregular products and must be part of any equivalence check.
- 02For cook-in applications, the time and temperature of the process must be confirmed with the manufacturer.
- 03Size ranges often drift over the years. We check whether near-duplicate sizes can be consolidated before quoting each one.
